The Women’s Microfinance Collaborative provides organized funding opportunities (small loans) to budding women entrepreneurs around the world. These funding pools,

SI/Chico gave $750 each year (2007-2009) for a total of $2250 in Microfinance Loans to help women around the world build their own businesses, send their children to school and gain status in their homes and communities.

The Women’s Microfinance Collaborative has started:

• 4 banks in Latin America
• 1 bank in Malawi Africa
• 1 bank in Haiti
